Wearing royal blue is a sign of support for Child Abuse Prevention. The pinwheel is the national symbol. If your business is interested in raising funds by allowing your employees to wear denim for a $5 donation, let CAPS know. We have stickers that you can wear to tell your customers that you believe all children should be safe and loved.
GREATER SALINA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION MATCH MADNESS
CAPS has an endowed fund at the GSCF to receive gifts from legacy donors. We participate in their annual Match Madness event to grow the endowment. If you are interested in leaving a lifetime legacy to CAPS through an estate gift, let us know!
EVERY CHILD MATTERS DINNER
Every fall, the CAPS board of directors plans a dinner to feature a nationally recognized speaker to highlight child abuse prevention. The community is invited to hear agency updates as we celebrate another year of serving children and families. Watch for a link to RSVP.
GIVING THROUGH SHOPPING
Do you shop at Dillons or fill up your vehicle at Kwik Shop or Dillons? Do you use a Dillons Plus card when you do? If you are not already participating in the Dillons Community Rewards program, you are missing an opportunity to support CAPS by simply shopping for your groceries or buying fuel at Dillons or Kwik Shop. It’s easy to sign up:
STEP 1: Visit the Dillons website at www.dillons.com/communityrewards
STEP 2: Log in with your existing account or create a new account.
STEP 3: Enter “Child Advocacy and Parenting Services” or 45506 as your organization of choice.
Save your selection, and the next time you use your Dillons Plus card, Dillons will make a small contribution to our efforts. It couldn’t be easier! Don’t forget — this program resets annually. You will need reassign CAPS as your preferred organization every year. If you haven’t reset this year, take a moment and log in to do that.
